Yael stone, who is a New York City-based Australian resident, portrayed Lorna Morello on Orange Is the New Black in 2013. Yael has received her NIDA degree. Yael, despite her young years, has had the privilege of learning from Australia's most renowned storytellers. Yael is a hugely accomplished career in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael made New York City her home in the wake of she was a part of the Brooklyn Academy of Music produced this critically-acclaimed show. Yael is co-founder of The Cannery. The Cannery is located at Bushwick Brooklyn and is based out of Brooklyn to encourage creative writing, innovative ideas and new work.
